Oh, this is going to be good. Bean sprouts Water celeries I think it’s almost done. Hello everyone! I’m going to have ‘steamed monkfish’. Steamed monkfish… Winter is the right season for ste… steamed… (stuttering) Monkfish is in the season in late winter. I like seasonal foods 🙂 I put whole bunch of scallops, bean sprouts and water celeries on steamed monkfish. This is traditional alcohol ‘moonbaesool’. (Korean pear liquor) This alcohol is pretty strong, but it goes in smooth. Let’s start with some liquor. This is not the type of liquor you make tornados. I don’t know why my hand is doing this though… (Traditional style) I’ll pour you a drink. Nice! So smooth. Scallops first. It’s finger licking good! Another shot of liquor. Bean sprouts and water celeries full of seasoning. Seasoning is soaked very well into bean sprouts. Refreshing scent of water celeries. I don’t prefer seasoned vegetables but this is good. Seafood and alcohol! Spicy seasoning is always the right answer for scallops. Another one! And another one! Here comes the monkfish. Oh, the texture… Tender and chewy texture is monkfish’s signature. So soft. Seafood and white kimchi. Here goes another monkfish. Is there another seafood without fishy smell, like monkfish? So clean. Last scallops for this winter. (They might have some toxic on spring season.) Chewy and flavorful scallops. Can’t stop. U L T I M A T E C O M B I N A T I O N I’ll put these on a dried laver. Scallop is so tasty. Dipping monkfish into the soy sauce. Deep taste of monkfish. The texture of the meat is like an art. Tender and chewy. The roll with refreshing scent of water celery. S A T I S F I E D This is just too good! The essence is inside of bones. Sesame leaf and dried laver. Liquor is calling me. moonbaesool is really good. Ripping the monkfish meat off like having a chicken. Last roll. I want to keep the taste of this liquor secret… Today I had steamed monkfish, white kimchi, and moonbaesool. Scallops were really good. Plus, moonbaesool. Wow… I’ll… be… back… with… another… food… Gees… My tongue is tied. I’ll be back with another good food. It was a good meal. Thanks everyone! See you next time! Bye!
